Albania's Euro Woes Continue as Croatia Salvage Draw

WEB Albania's Euro woes continued on Wednesday as Croatia salvaged a 2-2 draw in Zagreb.

The result leaves Albania with just one win in their last 10 matches against new opponents.

WEB Albania had taken a shock lead through Myrto Uzuni in the 12th minute and doubled their advantage through Armando Broja in the 24th minute. However, Croatia fought back with goals from Nikola Vlasic in the 34th minute and Andrej Kramaric in the 70th minute. Albania then snatched a dramatic equalizer in stoppage time through Kristoffer Ajer.

The draw leaves Albania bottom of Group E with just two points from four matches. Croatia are third with five points, behind leaders Hungary and Slovakia. Despite their poor run of form, Albania still have a chance of reaching the knockout stages if they can win their remaining two matches against Hungary and Slovakia.

Croatia, meanwhile, will be disappointed not to have taken all three points against Albania. However, they remain in contention for qualification and will be confident of beating Slovakia and Hungary in their remaining matches.
